51 Things Girls Don't Know About Guys

One of the things girls would like to understand most is boys. Well, this is it. I personally don't agree to all 51, all guys are different right? Just read on.

1. Guys hate sluts.

2. "Hey, are you busy?" or "Are you doing something?" - Two phrases guys open with to stop from stammering on the phone.

3. Guys may be flirting around all day but before they go to sleep, they always think about the girl they truly care about.

4. Before they call, guys try to plan out a little about what they're gonna say so there aren't awkward pauses, but once he's on the phone he forgets it all and makes it up as he goes.

5. Guys go crazy over a girl's smile.

6. Guys will do anything just to get you to notice him.

7. Guys hate it when you talk about your ex-boyfriend or ex love-interest. Unless they're going for the let-her-complain-to-you-and-then-have-her-realize-how-wonderful-and-nice-you-are method.

8. A guy who likes you wants to be the only guy you talk to.

9. Boyfriends need to be reassured often that they're still loved.

10. Don't talk about your guy friends to your boyfriend.

11. Guys get jealous easily.

12. Guys are more emotional than they'd like people to think.

13. Giving a guy a hanging message like "You know what? ...uh...never mind…" would make him jump to a conclusion that is far from what you are thinking. And he'll assume he did something wrong and he'll obsess about it trying to figure it out.

14. Guys are good flatterers when courting but they usually stammer when they talk to a girl they really like.

15. Guys hate asking parents for money to buy girls presents. So they come up with ideas like saving their lunch money for a week. But it never works because guys are always hungry so they end up asking the parents for money anyway.

Death & Salvation

I don't know how to put these feelings into words, too difficult to describe. Death has been one thing that most people fear of. Losing a loved one, it's like a part of you is gone. So empty. Que Nie's grandfather passed away, when I visited her, she's like knowing nothing about it. She's only five years old, and to her, her grandfather is not dead, just taking a long long nap. She said "my ah kong is sleeping."

My heart just sank when I see her like that. Her grandmother looked so haggard and have grown thinner. Her eyes swollen, must have cried for days. The atmosphere in the whole house is so awkward, I don't know what to say to make them feel better, I just sat there in silence, hugging Que Nie. It must have been hard for the whole family to deal with the death of a family member.

When my grandfather died, I was only two then. I don't know the sorrow of losing a family member. When we go to the cemetery to pay respect to my grandfather during Ching Ming every year, my grandmother would just sit there, looking at his picture, touching it and tears will start rolling down her eyes. Then I asked her, " Are you okay?", she would say "I'm ok, I just miss him alot."

I start to fear, not death. But it's the fear of not able to tell them about God. The salvation for my family members and close friends matter alot to me. I'm afraid that before I could tell them who Jesus is, they will be gone. Thank God Michelle has been saved, and Ai Mei and Elaine too.
Life is so meaningless without God you know. My mother calls herself as a freethinker, but when she faces problems, she dooesn't know who to turn to. Her friends cannot even understand her completely. Some of you wonder, WHY CHRISTIANS ALWAYS LOOK SO HAPPY? It's because we have God to help us through thick and thin. When we are down, we could talk to God. Sorry if all this sound like bullcrap to you. I'm just sharing my experiences. God made me who I am today, if it wasn't Him, bet I'll be living in a big fat lie, not knowing myself, not being myself, not being free and happy.

Google Office

Who would have thought two fresh graduates, who started a small business just in a garage can become billionaires just like, that?

I am talking about Google co-founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin.
When Page and Brin first moved in the garage, Google had just been incorporated with a bankroll of $1 million raised from a handful of investors. Today, Google has about $10 billion in cash and a market value of $125 billion!

Their headquarters, known as Googleplex is situated in Mountain View, Silicon Valley in California. Wish this was our office.

Lava Lamps. Retro!

The employees' workspaces are all about individuality. The atmosphere is relaxed, couches are everyhwere and they can just lie down to take a break if they want to. If we did that in the office, I'll probably get fired.

Google's employees have meetings at the corridors or at the pool table. Look at that guy, meeting while riding on a scooter. So cool lah.

They can even bring their pets to work. Their pets are also allowed to wander around the office. Many staffs have pets. :)

There's a rule within Google: that there must be food within 100 feet of every employee. There was once an engineer who felt a bit ripped off about that rule because his nearest food counter was 120 feet away, so he asked for the error to be corrected, tongue in cheek. The relevant department replied: "There's a restaurant right above your desk, and you are definitely less than 100 feet from that one."

Looks like a toyshop more than a workspace! My workspace doesn't even have that many things. I think it's time for me to do something about it.

Rumor has it, a dude who had just joined Google had not been able to find a flat, so he lived at Google HQ for a month. He lived a lot better than Tom Hanks in The Terminal. Meals are provided, couches everywhere, there are showers in the bathrooms, a gym and a swimming machine. There are even pianos in music rooms you could use. Better than the facilities at home! The dude didn't leave Google HQ for a month straight.

I salute the Taiwanese, I mean how can they manage to pull off an entertainment show so well? I bet most of you watch taiwanese entertainment shows especially those hosted by Jacky Wu. Now this one is classic. The "students" are having music class. Whatever the teachers are teaching, the students are not allowed to laugh. This video needs no description. It speaks for itself. We Fought Over Paris Hilton

I found this video of Nick Carter fighting with his brother, Aaron Carter. I find it hilarious and at the same time, shocked. Personally, I don't think it's made up. Now Nick is pissed off just because Aaron is playing music at midnight while Nick is trying to get some sleep. And Nick got a little over the top and starts bringing up the topic of Paris Hilton. The REAL reason Nick picked up a fight with Aaron is because he had a fling with Paris Hilton just after Nick broke up with Paris. Here are some of the memorable quotes.
